Job Descriptions :


1.  Execute work to deliver timely, accurate and efficient service.

2.  Conduct project tenders via eProcurement Systems and ensure adherence to the company's policy and processes on IT, Engineering and/or MRO categories. 

3.  Able to work with internal stakeholders to develop category and/or sub-category sourcing strategies, supplier selection, and contract negotiations. 

4.  Provides advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on implementation of solutions concerning category and supplier strategies.

5.  Applies a disciplined methodology and procurement policies to the procurement of goods and services.

6.  Develops solutions and makes recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.

7.  Identifies areas of opportunity through analyses of industries and supply markets, cost models for products and services, supplier category spend, and the performance of key suppliers in the market.

8.  Work with suppliers to create value/savings and mitigate risk.

9.  Identifies, develops and implements demand management and cost reduction opportunities, optimizes sourcing strategies, identifies and mitigates supplier risk and negotiates effective controls all through the supplier engagement process.

10. Manage multiple programs/projects simultaneously and resolve conflicting conflicting priorities and objectives.


Job Requirements :


1. Degree in Economics / Business Administration / Supply Chain (with 2 years relevant experience); and/or proven experience in procurement of IT / Engineering related purchases will be an advantage.

2. Strong negotiation, communication skills (verbal and written), interpersonal and influencing skills.

3. Able to work independently and in a cooperative manner with different levels.

4. Able to plan and organize tasks effectively.

5. Good analytical and problem solving skills.

6. Hands-on experience in using SAP / Ariba / Oracle or any other ERP system will be an added advantage.
