Job Responsibilities

 

  • Execute the entire tendering process for the procurement of the development contracts, goods & services.
  • Assist AM to review and evaluate the Tender Reports from Consultants for onward recommendation of award.
  • Assist AM to prepare Tender Report and recommendation, if any. 
  • Assist AM to draft and finalize the letter of award (LOA), Variation Order (VO) and assist in contract administration.
  • Assist AM to prepare the Contract Documentation and contract binding.
  • Assist to source and pre-qualify potential new vendors for approval, and update existing vendor profiles on the system.
  • Execute the PR-PO approval process through the system and for the issuance of LOA.
  • Execute and administer the tender invitation, tender collection, earnest money, tender closing, etc.
  • Manage incidents, complaints, or queries from user to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable company policies, procedures, regulated standard and approved SOP.
  • Ensure a clear audit trail of activities is maintained with proper filing / record keeping.
  • Maintain GENM interests in tender process / tender awards / negotiation process.
  • Summarize and monitor the contact renewal, planning and working towards to achieve timely award.
  • Engage with the Vendors and Internal Stakeholders in relation with forward planning, acquire information of market trend, new technology including the current demand & supply.
  • New job functions and duties that may be assigned from time to time.

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying (QS) / Business Administration / Supply Chain (Fresh graduates or with 2 years relevant experience); and/or
  • Diploma in QS / Certificate in Purchasing & Material Management or related field (with min. 3 years relevant experience)
  • Possess good computer knowledge i.e. MS Words & Excel
  • Comprehend the basic functionalities of procurement applications (Ariba / SAP)
  • Good understanding on Quality Management System
  • Able to work independently and in a cooperative manner with different levels
  • Good negotiation skill, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willing to travel to Genting Highlands.
