Job Description: On-Premise Media Manager

 

Job Overview

The On-Premise Media Director is responsible for the strategic management and execution of all on-premise media initiatives. This role encompasses overseeing the in-house online radio station, managing the Visitor Center's daily operations, and driving sales of on-premise media assets.

 

Key Responsibilities

In-House Online Radio Station Management

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content programming strategy for the online radio station, ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives.
  • Recruit, manage, and schedule both in-house and guest DJs, ensuring high-quality programming and consistent on-air presence.
  • Manage advertising airtime, including sales, scheduling, and production of commercials.
  • Monitor and analyze radio station performance metrics to optimize programming and advertising effectiveness.

 

Visitor Center Operations

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Visitor Center, ensuring a positive and engaging visitor experience.
  • Manage front-end operations, including visitor reception, information dissemination, and facility maintenance.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth Visitor Center operations and alignment with company goals.

 

On-Premise Media Asset Sales

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy for on-premise media assets, including digital and print formats.
  • Update and manage a comprehensive rate card with the media asset owner, ensuring competitive pricing and profitability.
  • Identify and pursue potential advertising clients, building strong relationships and closing sales.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to clients.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify opportunities for improvement.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in media management, including radio broadcasting, advertising sales, and/or event management.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful media campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of digital media and advertising trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
