Job Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and implement standardised procedures for Banking Services and Accounts Payable within the Group's Malaysian operations.
- Monitor and ensure the implementation of effective internal controls and compliance with policies and procedures for the Group's Malaysian operations.
- Oversee cash placements and handle transactional and administrative banking matters for the Group's Malaysian operations.
- Manage daily cash flows to meet operational requirements and provide advisory support on banking related matters for the Group's Malaysian operations.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and reports for the Group's operations.
- Compile reports for submission to regulatory authorities.
- Participate in the Group's fund raising activities.
- Oversee and process centralised outgoing payments for GENM and its subsidiaries.
- Assist with ad-hoc assignments as directed by supervisors.
Job Requirements
- A relevant degree in Accounting or a related field, along with professional qualifications.
- Membership in a recognised professional body (e.g. MIA, ICAEW, ACCA, MICPA CPA, ICAA)
- At least 6 years of accounting experience, including a minimum of 1 year in a managerial role.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Detail-oriented, highly organised and possess strong leadership qualities.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills.
