Job description

• Experienced in financial reporting, management accounting, financial analysis, taxation, audit and etc
• Able to assist with system implementation projects, preparing board papers, cash flow management, funding and other ad hoc matters
• Managing the processes for financial forecasting, budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting measures.
• Execute and manage statutory reporting and payment activities for withholding tax, sales & service tax and other indirect taxes in compliance with Malaysian taxation and custom requirements.
• Ensures that governance processes and operational controls are operating effectively
• Ensuring and maintaining technical knowledge for accurate and appropriate recording, processing and reporting of financial data in the system.
• Supports system, design, testing, system enhancement and training.
• Ensuring timely reporting to authority.

Job requirement

• Degree in Accounting or related professional qualifications.
• Member of professional body (E.g. MIA, ICAEW, ACCA, MACPA, CPA, ICAA).
• Minimum 6 years accounting experience and 1 year experience at managerial level.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Meticulous, highly organized and strong leadership qualities.
• Good interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and solid communication skills
