Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting.
  • To review the reasonableness of the accrued expenses and review document journals.
  • Control and protect the assets for the interest of the company.
  • Verification of payment, withholding tax submission and claim.
  • Review and analyze the trade debtors ageing, balance sheet items, bank reconciliation and closely monitor the follow-ups actions.
  • Monitoring & analyse monthly financial performance for Business units.
  • Prepare or review monthly, quarterly and yearly standard reporting, e.g. SST-Schedule, tax computation, Statutory accounts, etc.
  • Prepare, consolidate and analyze annual budget figures.
  • Streamline and recommend improvements to the existing internal controls and accounting processes.
  • Liaise with auditor and authorities.
  • Prepare and update Departmental Operating Manual and work instruction.
  • Involve in fixed asset, inventory, petty cash verification exercise.
  • Ad hoc project from time to time upon management request.

 

Job Requirement

  • Degree in Accounting/Accounting Professional (ACCA/CIMA/MICPA) qualification.
  • At least 4 years’ working experience.
  • Proven experience in dealing with multiple stake holders
  • Self-driven, results oriented and possess strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency with business English (oral and written).
  • Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  • Experience in SAP, SAS, Robotics Process Automation will be an added advantage
