SPECIFIC DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

 

  • Plan and deliver the orientation and induction programmes for new joiners of theme parks and relevant departments.
  • Support the L&D management to identify learning opportunities to implement, and manage the full learning lifecycles from concept through to delivery or handover.
  • Source, customise, design and develop training programmes across various modalities from face to face facilitation to eLearning and blended programmes.
  • Design and develop eLearning content using various industry-leading authoring tools.
  • Collate and analyse training data, e.g. completion status, training evaluation, topics, costing etc. Including administration of information into any training systems used.
  • Maintain an understanding of new educational and training tools, techniques and methods and propose, where appropriate, to L&D Management.
  • Schedule training sessions, organize logistics, equipment, and manage course enrolments.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and identify ways to improve the training approach, content and delivery.
  • Observe On-the-Job training and find ways to improve the trainer quality, content delivery to ensure the success of OJT process.
  • Implement a Quality Assurance Framework of all the L&D activities from training in-house to delivery of training by front line teams.
  • Monitor and Quality Assure On-the-Job Training is being carried out and ensure delivery aligns to the training objectives.
  • Manage and maintain training records in relevant training management systems and report to stakeholders.
  • Be the point of contact for training related matters, consult, advise and support in training and development intervention for all areas of the theme parks, as well as liaise with the HR Training and Development teams on training matters.
  • Act as a coach and mentor to other team members, supported by nurturing and recognising talent across the teams.
  • Assist L&D management in planning and executing engagement initiatives.
  • Support with engagement activities across our organisation, working closely with the employee engagement lead to implement various activities designed to recognise and reward individuals across the teams.
