      Public Relations

  • Formulate plan, develop and implement a multi-level publicity and public relations campaign on a local, regional, national and international level. 
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with the media and oversees the media relations program including print, television, radio, digital and other mediums. Prepare news releases and feature articles. Pitch and arrange interviews between company executives and media representatives. Develop spokespersons briefing to ensure smooth interview and positive exposure.
  • Key liaison between agency, Corporate Communication & Public Relations (CCPR) and other theme park departments.
  • Create, develop, implement and coordinate special events and promotional activities on-site and in the community to heighten interest in and promote the Resort. Coordinate tours and visits of dignitaries, VIPs and celebrity guests. 
  • Serves as a member of the crisis management team, is the key point of contact with the media, community groups, and guest or family members in the event of an accident, violence or other mishap within the park.  Educates personnel in security, safety, and members of management in communication protocols in the event of a crisis to ensure proper response and notification to affected guests, employees, and family members, control negative publicity, and minimize exposure. 

 

      Social Medias

  • Formulate plan, develop and implement a multi-level social media strategy to engage local and regional audiences.
  • The manager will also be the lead in monitoring, responding and reacting to all feedbacks, queries and market sentiments within the social mediums.
  • Person-in-charge (PIC) for all Genting SkyWorlds and/or Theme Park related social & review assets
    1. Social Assets: Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and Twitter
    2. Review Assets: Google Review, TripAdvisors and reseller review websites.  
  • Key liaison between agency, National Marketing and other theme park departments.

 

Partnership

  • Develops, negotiates and manages partnerships, in-kind contributions, and pursues partnership-marketing opportunities such as strategic partnerships and alliances. 
  • Sets goals and objectives, develops prospects and contacts, develops and implements an action plan, negotiates agreements, and ensures contracts are approved and executed.
  • Key liaison between agency, group wide partnership taskforce, and other theme park departments.
