The Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring that products appear in correct Theme Park and guidelines adhere at all time during product development. The Merchandiser will create and update material master codes maintenance and initiate order the correct product's quantity and costing, arranging and monitoring all logistic arrangement for delivery to GENM warehouse, conducting random product QC, product turnover analysis and planning promotions as necessary.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing all new design approval from concept up to contractual sample;
  • Managing merchandise development process at all stages, meeting and follow-up with 3rd party and supplier on product approval;
  • Inspect merchandise quality; consolidate defect finding report and inspection guidelines; 
  • Liaise with 3rd party on all IP updates / obsolete style guides & assets, legal line and logo;
  • Managing and tracking all TP Merchandising related NDA and RFA approval;
  • Prepare Merchandising related SOP, flowcharts, tracking list etc.;
  • Responsible on all general packaging for store apart from product packaging e.g. plastic bag and paper bag design & sample approval, PR and PO issuance;
  • Prepare promotion planning proposal and sales analysis (e.g. bestseller and slow moving items);
  • Prepare barcode label content and material master description for all merchandise;
  • Prepare weekly tracking list updates, reports and analysis;
  • Controlling stock levels based on forecasts;
  • Analysing bestsellers (eg: bestselling price points, colours or styles) and ensuring that bestsellers reach their full potential;
  • Monitoring slow sellers and taking action to reduce prices or set promotions as necessary;
  • Gathering information on guest reactions to products;
  • Analysing previous season's sales and reporting on the current season's lines.
