Job Description
- The Multimedia Executive is responsible to support the operation, maintenance and technical aspects of multimedia systems across the resort.
- To manage and maintain CMS platforms including Scala, Coolux (Wonderwall), IPTV, Trend-D and Wayfinding systems.
- To ensure content is accurately deployed and displayed across resort-wide digital screens and platforms.
- To monitor system performance, server/CMS logs and troubleshoot issues related to playback, connectivity and hardware.
- To provide technical support for multimedia systems including LED screens, TVs, wayfinding displays and other digital installations.
- To support the operation and maintenance of multimedia and interactive systems within the Genting Guest Xperience Centre (GGXC).
- To ensure system uptime, stability and seamless guest experience across GGXC interactive and immersive platforms.
- To troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site including screen blackout, playback errors and system faults.
- To perform preventive maintenance, periodic checks and testing to ensure all equipment functions properly.
- To coordinate with vendors, IT and engineering teams on system support, upgrades and integration.
- To maintain logs of issues, report major incidents and follow up with vendors for resolution.
- To ensure all work complies with SOP, operational standards and best practices.
- To assist in content testing and support basic video playback verification (video editing knowledge is an added advantage).
- To have a teamwork spirit, positive attitude and be supportive in daily operations.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Multimedia, IT, Broadcast or related field
- or Diploma qualification with minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
- Experience in managing CMS platforms or multimedia systems will be an added advantage
- Basic knowledge of AV systems, LED screens, display technologies and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with systems such as Scala, Coolux, IPTV or similar platforms is preferred
- Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills
- Basic understanding of video formats, playback and content handling
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
- Basic video editing knowledge (Adobe Premiere Pro / After Effects) will be an added advantage
- Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Working experience in similar large-scale environment will be an advantage
