Job Responsibilities: 

• On-site physical inspection and to test drive all Transport Department’s vehicle fleet (Buses and Limousines) to determine their condition for any required repair and maintenance works.
• To ensure that periodic repair and maintenance works are duly performed on-time for entire fleet inventory to avoid warranty disputes and vehicle is consistently running in tip top condition.
• To attend to any feedback from vehicle users (ie : Drivers) of vehicle issues that may require rectification works.
• Identify root causes of damage to vehicles and recommend positive actions that could potentially minimize cost of future repairs and reduce R&M cost.
• To attend to and oversee the R&M needs of Genting’s company registered vehicles (including for our Senior Management’s vehicles).
• To perform random inspection of all 3rd party appointed vendors (Limousine Service Providers, Travel Agencies coaches etc) to ensure the vehicle are roadworthy and do not compromise on the safety standards for our valued Genting customers.
• To work closely with our Limousine and Bus Sections to schedule R&M works during low periods/seasons and reduce downtime of vehicles at workshops (improve asset utilisation/productivity).
• Back end administration including :-
• Raising of PR’s in Ariba system for job request, quotations and tax invoices.
• To work with appointed panel workshops administrative personnel on the required reconciliation of back office paper work.
• Prepare data for weekly and monthly reports.
• Filing , recording  and updating of vehicles historical R&M works.    
• To arrange vehicles for required R&M works to our panel workshops as per appointed by our Group Centralised Procument section that would include :
• Verifications for type of repairs required and requirements for replacement parts.
• Measuring cost vs safety requirements for the type of repairs and service needed.
• Emergency vehicles breakdown arrangement.
• Monitoring panel workshops performances on job request respond time, emergency situations respond time.
• Verify quotations and negotiations of repairs, safety factors and cost factors to concerned.

Job Requirements: 

• Possess a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or its equivalent, or 
• Diploma in Mechanical/ Automotive with 2 years relevant working experience 
• Able to converse in English and Bahasa Malaysia 
• Willing to based at Resorts World Genting, Pahang
