Job Description
1. Talent Engagement & Coordination
- Coordinate and process all types of engagements involving local and foreign talents in support of events, activities, shows, and in-house entertainment requirements for GENM and its affiliates.
- Talent categories include, but are not limited to, singers, bands, musicians, magicians, clowns, jugglers, models, and other related performers.
2. Contract Administration & Payment Processing
- Monitor and follow up on contractual obligations to ensure compliance by all parties.
- Coordinate payment processing and related administrative matters.
- Provide operational support to ensure the smooth execution of engagements.
3. Off-Site Event Operations Coordination
- Assist in the planning and coordination of off-site shows, events, and activities for GENM and its affiliates.
- Meet and receive artistes/talents and ensure their safe arrival at designated venues.
- Prepare, maintain, and coordinate all required documentation, including government approvals, permits, insurance, contracts, and related records.
- Coordinate and arrange all necessary logistics in advance to support event operations.
4. On-Site Event Operations Coordination
- Provide on-site operational support and coordination for shows, events, and activities.
- Arrange and follow up on artistes’ and talents’ entitlements, including accommodation, meals, transportation, laundry, and other related requirements.
- Act as the liaison between talents, event organizers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth event execution.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in administration, coordination, event support, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong coordination, documentation, and liaison skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to converse in Mandarin or other Chinese dialects will be an added advantage.
- Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, when required by operational needs.
