BASIC FUNCTION:

 

Our people are at the centre of everything we do here at the Resort and they represent the key enablers and successes. Resorts World Genting is looking for an Executive of Deployment and Manpower who will be one of the main points of contact for people operations across The Theme Park Division.

 

As an organisation we are embarking on an ambitious plan to coordinate all scheduling and rostering for our Outdoor Theme park project into one collective system and management tool. The Deployment and Manpower team will be in charge of designing the system so it’s fit for purpose; working to build the requirements with key stakeholders and operational teams across our business; and roll out the deployment solution for our Resort. The system will help plan and schedule for our Theme park offering.

 

As a key part of the People Development function the deployment and manpower team will be actively involved in training and development related activities, this means leading on recruitment and manpower planning schedules and timelines across the division; planning and onboarding of employees across all departments; scheduling of training; coordination of key activities; helping departments manage and plan their recruitment.

We aim to create a team of ambassadors who not only focus on the respective scheduling and rostering of the theme park, but also key drivers of standards across the division. The Deployment and Manpower team, will embark on activities to help drive these service, safety and behavioural standards. Working and partnering closely with other departments and teams to meet the needs of our business.  

 

Key Deliverables:

 

  • To consult and collaborate with all Theme Park business units on matters relating to Scheduling and Deployment.

 

  • To support the manager by planning works with necessary stakeholders in the Resort and updating with the latest information to communicate Scheduling and Deployment related matters

 

  • To provide support to Theme Park business units for hiring processes; manpower planning; overall recruitment approach and developing our people capabilities further.

 

  • To support in the plan and allocation of resources effectively to accomplish the work to meet departmental productivity and quality goals.

 

  • To support the manager by coaching, mentoring and developing a team – helping to provide career development planning and opportunities.

 

  • Support in the development of an employee onboarding experience for the Theme Park, helping identify key components to create a positive recruitment and learning process for all theme park teams.

 

  • To help manage the deployment and training space area; providing a welcoming atmosphere to all employees and supporting colleagues who require assistance in the area.

 

  • Support in the people development opportunities from training and development.

 

  • To support a team of supervisors ensuring allocation of work and resources to maintain the team’s productivity.

 

  • To support on the implementation and usage of relevant systems used within the team, all in accordance with the company policy and procedures.

 

  • To collate information and communicate on the requirements of standards, statutory requirements and industry best practices to business partners and stakeholders for process improvement.

 

  • To identify evaluation opportunities for any systems used within the team.

 

  • To facilitate process development across the board with relevant departments.

 

  • To check and ensure that the preparation of reports are done within the time in order to be presented to management and various stakeholders on a regular basis as determined by management or upon request based on reports maintained.

 

  • To support in the preparation of reports to be updated on a regular basis as determined by management.

 

  • To oversee, facilitate and assist in monitoring day-to-day staff scheduling and deployment to ensure they are properly planned and coordinated according to operational needs.

 

  • To facilitate and assist in generating day-to-day data for reporting (headcount, lateness, medical leave, absenteeism, overtime, etc.) to be provided to key stakeholders for further action.

 

  • Support the manager in handling all reported complaints or enquiries regarding leave, shift work, allotment and other related issues within the capacity, ensuring adequate processes and procedures are established for the team to follow.

 

  • Support in driving standards across the Resort including both quality, safety and behavioural standards.

 

  • Working with the Deployment and Manpower Manager and wider People Development teams to create businesses cases to improve the overall employee experience and using data to justify and support the development of these cases.
