Job Dossier: Engineering Building Tradesman

Position Overview

The Engineering Building Tradesman supports the maintenance and operation of engineering facilities. This role involves assisting with the installation, repair, and upkeep of building systems and equipment, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and Repair: Assist in the maintenance and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems.
  • Installation: Help with the installation of new equipment and systems as needed.
  • Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of building systems to identify and address potential issues.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
  • Support: Provide support to senior technicians and engineers in various tasks and projects.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in building maintenance or a related field is advantageous.
  • Skills:
    • Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
