Job Summary:

  1. Conduct training and arrange on-the-job training to coach newly joined employees for Front Office and Housekeeping
  2. Conduct or arrange technical and personal development training for Front Office and Housekeeping employees
  3. Plan, develop, design, implement and evaluate staff development programs by using cost effective methodology 
  4. Conduct training needs analysis to develop new training programs or improve the existing programs.
  5. Develop, design and organize training manuals, visual aids and other relevant education training material
  6. Develop evaluation process to ensure continuous development in Front Office and Housekeeping training cycle
  7. Confer with management and conduct surveys to identify training needs based on Room Division projected business, strategies, structure, processes and changes.
  8. Work with HR Training & Development (T&D) in apprenticeship program

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Manage training and development of Room Division Academy – Front Office and Housekeeping
  2. Manage Room Division Academy training evaluation to ensure training are conducted as per company standards
  3. Manage Room Division training block according to the staff job level
  4. Manage training and development needs of Room Division
  5. Manage training development cycle and training database by co-joining with HR Training & Development strategies

 

The most important tasks involving direction and control of others are:

1.         Training nomination from Front Office and Housekeeping

2.         Training confirmation from Front Office and Housekeeping

3.         Plan and carry out training according to yearly calendar

4.         Coordination of training venue either with Sales, TQM or GCE

5.         Administration for training; both pre and post

6.         Pre and post evaluation to evaluate training effectiveness

7.         Issuance of training certificate to award staff who completed and achieved the required standard for both Front Office Academy and Housekeeping Academy

 

The most important tasks performed on an individual basis without involving subordinates are:

1.         Guiding, developing and conducting training; coaching and briefing to the Front Office and Housekeeping personnel

2.         Developing the Front Office and Housekeeping training plan

3.         Establishing the training plan to verify the effectiveness of Front Office Academy and Housekeeping Academy

4.         Conducting on-site verification, producing Level 3 evaluation to measure the behavior changes after training; and also to propose the treatable solution for further action

5.         Conducting and attending meetings to circulate information and resolve Front Office and Housekeeping issues

6.         Verifying the effectiveness of the pre and post training by analyzing the data collected via Guest Questionnaire

7.         Interpreting and translating the Room Division Academy requirements such as SOP, into the language that can be understood by the Room Division staff

8.         Recommending and analyzing the Room Division Academy training programs that link to the Company’s Vision, Mission & Core Values, and also the 5 Service Standards

9.         Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) to ensure the training gap is address
