Job Description: 

A carpenter is responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing various wooden structures. The role involves working with a variety of hand and power tools, including saws, drills, hammers, and chisels.


Job Requirement: 

-    Certificate or Diploma or equivalent
-    Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship or vocational training program is preferred.
-    Relevant experience in carpentry or related field is preferred.
-    Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
-    Proficient with a range of carpentry tools and equipment.


Job Responsibilities;

-    Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the materials required and the scope of work.
-    Measure, cut, shape, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
-    Build, install, and repair wooden furniture, cabinets, and shelves.
-    Follow safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of protective equipment such as gloves, goggles, and hardhats.
-    Inspect and maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure timely completion of projects
