Overview:
The Casino Treasury Assistant Manager supports the Treasury Manager in overseeing all cage operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, financial accuracy, and exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising Treasury staff, managing transactions, and maintaining operational efficiency in a high-security environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily cage operations, including cash handling, chip exchanges, and payouts;
- Respond to customer inquiries, feedback, and request timely with professionalism;
- Supervise Treasury staff and ensure delivery of high level of customer service to customers;
- Monitor and verify financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance;
- Maintaining constant vigilance to detect and address any operational irregularities;
- Ensuring full compliance with all regulatory requirements, internal policies, and standard operating procedures;
- Other assignments as directed by Management.
Requirements:
- Possess a Diploma or above with a minimum of 1 years working experience in Supervisory position or higher;
- Prior experience in casino cage or banking or cash handling environment is preferred;
- Good communication skills, oral and written in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to converse in Mandarin or its dialects is added advantage;
- Strong numeracy and accuracy in cash handling, balancing and reconciliation;
- Understanding of regulatory expectations in AML would be an added advantage;
- Good inter-personal skills and is service oriented;
- Possess strong sense of integrity and responsibilities;
- Ability to supervise and train staff, manage work schedules and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures;
- Willing to work rotating shifts that includes nights, weekends and Public Holidays.
