Job Description

  • Support Leasing Manager in planning and implement tenant mix of the malls.
  • Assist and execute leasing strategies to maintain mall occupancy according to company direction.
  • Identify and shortlisted suitable tenant and retail concepts for the mall, negotiate and finalise the rental and other commercial terms.
  • Handle tenancy administration and execute all leasing related documentations.
  • Initiate discussion, build a relationship and follow up with prospective tenants.
  • Establish good rapport with tenants, provide personalized service and secure renewal.
  • Stay knowledgeable of the retail market status.
  • Ensure tenants' adhere to the lease terms, follow up through execution to the opening of the store.
  • Establish and maintain good landlord-tenant relationship by resolving any tenant concerns and issues that may arise soonest as possible in the interest and betterment for the mall.
  • Prepare and maintain tenancy agreements, management reports as well as documents with regards to lease transactions.
  • Conduct market research on shopping centres in order to keep abreast of retail property development in the market.

 

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Estate Management, Business Studies, Marketing or equivalent.
  • Preferably at least 5 years' relevant experience in commercial or retail property management.
  • Excellent communication skills and enjoys socialising with people
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the shopping mall industry, with market knowledge on retail performance, business opportunities and trends and has strong retail contacts and good networking within the retail industry.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills as well as strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Able to prioritize multiple projects and consistently work within tight deadlines.
  • Familiar with documents such as tenancy agreements & architectural plans. Meticulous, efficient and good in time management & multi-tasking
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Willing to work in Genting Highlands, Pahang
